Sunil Sadarangani is a Mumbai-born, Los Angeles-based producer and writer with over 15 years of experience in international film and TV production, and who is passionate about creating and promoting diverse and inclusive stories for global audiences.
Sunil is a contributing writer for Deadline Hollywood, New York Amsterdam News, and American Kahani, covering filmmakers and artists of color at major film festivals and industry award events. He is the co-founder and former director of programming of the Ojai Short Film Festival and showcased Academy Award-nominated and winning films and episodic series. He has been a part of the programming and jury teams at Outfest, the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, respectively.
Sunil is an independent producer who develops, produces, and executive produces English, Hindi, and Spanish language content through partnerships with film studios, streaming, and television networks. He has produced award-winning feature and short films, such as The Answer, In Transit, and Nova, and the international doc-series World Religions. He has been recognized by the California State Senate for his ongoing commitment to creativity and innovation in the Los Angeles community.
