The GLOW is back on Netflix premieres June 29th




The GLOW is back on Netflix on June 29th. Season 2 follows the women of GLOW as they become local celebrities, confronting the good, the bad, and the ugly realities of their newfound fame. As Ruth (Alison Brie) and Debbie (Betty Gilpin) settle into the day-to-day of making a season of TV together, they confront lingering issues at the heart of their friendship. Sam (Marc Maron) is still Sam, but now he has a teenage daughter living with him and twenty episodes to churn out. The wrestling is harder, the stakes are higher, and the hair is even bigger

GLOW is created by Liz Flahive (HomelandNurse Jackie) and Carly Mensch (Nurse JackieOrange Is The New BlackWeeds). Orange Is the New Blackcreator Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann executive producers alongside Flahive and Mensch who are serving as showrunners.

Stated as “a stand out” in season 1 by Nerdist, Sydelle Noel is back for season 2 playing the role of former stunt woman, Cherry Bang aka “Junk Chain,” in the Netflix hit. You may also know Sydelle from her role in this year’s Marvel hit, Black Panther,  as a Dora Milaje warrior.

Kia Stevens as the larger-than-life character ‘Awesome Kong’ but on GLOW, she's a single mom looking for a new start in life. Stevens is back for season 2 playing the role of Tamee aka “Welfare Queen.”
