Tony Award Nominations Announced May 1st

The Tony Nominations can be viewed LIVE (8:30am ET) on CBS This Morning, Tuesday May 1st

It’s almost Tony time. That special time of the year when New York City springs alive and New Yorkers begin to tap their feet, sing catchy melodies and act out classical theater pieces just for the fun of it.

Announcing the Tony Award Nominations on May 1 will be Tony and Grammy Award winner, Leslie Odom, Jr. and Katharine McPhee, who is currently starring in the Tony-nominated musical Waitress.  

Also in attendance will be David Henry Hwang, Chairman of the American Theatre Wing; Heather Hitchens, President & CEO of the American Theatre Wing; Thomas Schumacher, Chairman of The Broadway League; Charlotte St. Martin, President of The Broadway League.
