OMARI HARDWICK is EBONY — perfect 

EBONY magazine releases its July/August issue, featuring OMARI HARDWICK on the cover. In the accompanying exclusive interview, the athlete-turned-actor admits that initially, he almost turned down his starring role in the Starz crime drama Power. Hardwick also dishes on his road to stardom—including odd jobs and homelessness—the help he received from an A-list celebrity and speaking up on Black injustices. “I don’t necessarily know if there’s ever really been a ‘now’ versus ‘then.’ … Sometimes, it still feels like we’re back at the Blacks-only water fountains and not sitting on the stools that we want to in a diner,” says our cover star.
