The Producers Guild of America (PGA)  5th edition of Produced By: New York line up continues to grow adding,“Producing Masterclass:The Creative Collaborations,”including: “Blackkklansman” producer Jason Blum and writer Kevin Willmott; “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” producer Anne Carey and director Marielle Heller; “Crazy Rich Asians” actor Ronny Chieng, who joins previously announced producer John Penotti; “The Favourite” actor Joe Alwyn, who joins previously announced director/producer Yorgos Lanthimos; “First Man” producer Wyck Godfrey and production designer Nathan Crowley; “Mary Poppins Returns” director/producer Rob Marshall and lead actress Emily Blunt; and “Roma” producer Gabriela Rodriguez and lead actress Yalitza Aparicio.

New to this year’s conference, five “Deeper Dive” roundtable discussions will be offered to PGA members attending Produced By: New York. Each of these intimate sessions is topic-based and off-the-record, designed to provide an additional opportunity within the conference for PGA members to discuss a range of subjects from career development, to physical production, and financing. These sessions include: “Financing and Crafting ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor?’” (sponsored by AARP) featuring director and producer Morgan Neville and producer Caryn Capotosto, facilitated by producer Julie Goldman; “Shooting on Location: Optimizing Your Production Costs” (sponsored by Media Central), featuring Media Central’s Jay Schlossberg and producers Mari Jo Winkler and Santiago Quiñones; “Developing and Producing ‘A Quiet Place’” (sponsored by AARP), featuring producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, facilitated by producer Nina Yang Bongiovi; “The Unscripted Landscape” (sponsored by Discovery), featuring Senior Vice President of Development for TLC Jason Sarlanis; and “Breaking the Rules: Taking Your Career to the Next Level,” featuring producer Ryan Cunningham and facilitated by producers Dana Kuznetzkoff and Kristine Pregot.


The PGA’s Produced By: New York 2018 takes place Saturday, November 10 at One Time Warner Center in New York. Reaching across film, television and new media, Produced By is an educational forum conducted by acclaimed producers, including numerous Oscar and Emmy award winners, as well as the next generation of creative entrepreneurs. It is specifically created by producers, for producers and features a broad range of programming, including workshops and networking events. No other event gives producers so many opportunities to network with and learn from top storytellers and decision-makers in the entertainment industry.
