From HBO, UNITED SKATES, produced by Grammy Award-winner – John Legend. The film is a look at the underground skate culture within black communities across the nation. Skating has imparted unity within African-American communities for generations and this documentary explores the effects of gentrification on skate culture.
The star-studded cast, including Salt-N-Peppa, Coolio, Alonzo Williams, and Queen Latifah also share their memories of the roller rinks.
