The Bridge Lab seeks to curate screening of projects that will thematically resonate with participants and generate more interest in creating their own stories or following their unique paths toward career development. The Lab Sessions consist of 3 components: a Q&A with creatives, executives and Academy members offering their expertise about navigating careers, rotation group conversations with industry professionals and a meet and greet to pursue deeper conversations and connections fostered by The Bridge Lab.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is an invaluable advisor, mentor, and supporter of The Bridge Lab since its inception. AMPAS has solicited the help of its Academy membership to provide insight and support to youth and young adults who would otherwise not have the opportunity to access this type of insider insight. Columbia University has been a partner in incubating The Bridge Lab concept with support from The Connecting Youth Initiative in the Office of Government and Community Affairs and by providing a base and start with space in their highly acclaimed, The Lenfest Center for the Arts on the Manhattanville campus in Harlem. Sony Pictures Animation has generously worked to provide The Bridge lab with the film and facilitate involvement from its award-winning team that executed the creation and release of this film.
