The Boonie Bears - "True heroes don't look back at explosions"

"True heroes don't look back at explosions"

"True heroes don't look back at explosions" - what a badass line! I mean, who wouldn't love it? Especially when it's coming from a clumsy, daydreaming bear in the woods. That's just relatable! And did I mention he's got a sweet tooth for ice cream? That's just too cute and relatable.

The Boonie Bears series follows the misadventures of Briar and Bramble, two hilarious bears on a mission to stop the evil Logger Vick from destroying their beloved forest home. Along the way, they encounter a variety of animal friends like a wise old owl, a quirky gopher, and two playful monkeys. It's like a safari of fluffy, furry, and fun!

This Chinese animated franchise is a Fantawild Animation masterpiece and has been dominating the Chinese animation scene for years. And why not? It's got everything - action, adventure, humor, and heart. It's like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The Boonie Bears series has become a global phenomenon and has been translated into various languages like English, Spanish, French, Russian, Tamil, and Hindi. It's now available on multiple platforms, including Netflix, Sony, and Disney. The latest movie in the franchise, Boonie Bears: Back to Earth, grossed over $100M in Chinese theaters. That's just mind-blowing!

Here's my criticism. The violence in the show is a bit too much for my taste. I mean, dragging a cat down the street? That's just irresponsible and could be harmful to impressionable young minds. As creatives, we have a responsibility to be mindful of what we show on screen. But overall, it's there's a lot to like in this fantastic movie that falls into the adventure, sci-fi, and animation categories.

Directed by Huida Lin and written by Lin Jiang, Qin Wan, and Rachel Xu, it's voiced by Joseph S. Lambert (Bramble), Paul 'Maxx' Rinehart (Vick), and Sara Secora (Avi). With a running time of 1h 37m, it's a must-watch for all animal-loving and adventure-seeking audiences.
