ACADEMY LAUNCHES 96TH OSCARS® FAN ACTIVATION IN PARTNERSHIP
WITH ABC AND AMAZON FIRE TV

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with ABC and Amazon Fire TV, will launch an exclusive fan experience celebrating the 96th Oscars®.

Museum attendees, film fans, locals and visitors are invited to experience this exclusive, fan photo-op installation free to the public.
 
Activation Hours: 
*Friday, March 8, 10am – 10pm PT
*Saturday, March 9, 10am – 6pm PT
**Sunday, March 10, 3pm – 8:30pm PT

*Academy Museum general admission is not required to participate. 
**Only available to Oscars Night at the Museum ticket holders.

*Installation will be located on The Walt Disney Company Piazza

Guests will encounter an installation of life-size Oscar® statues on display soaring atop an elevated platform. They will also be invited to pose for a shareable video of their “big Hollywood moment” captured by a wide-lens camera. In the evening, integrated lighting will throw gorgeous shadows throughout the space, maintaining visibility for the installation post-sunset.
