Winners Revealed at 74th Annual ACE Eddie Awards

The 74th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, hosted at UCLA's Royce Hall and presented by American Cinema Editors (ACE), declared the champions across 14 categories of film, television, and documentaries. The ceremony, aired live, highlighted exceptional editing performances throughout the year.
The prestigious ACE Golden Eddie Award was bestowed upon iconic filmmaker John Waters, honoring his remarkable contributions to cinema. Additionally, Kate Amend, ACE, and Walter Murch, ACE, received Career Achievement Awards, recognizing their outstanding influence on film editing. Stephen Lovejoy, ACE, was presented with the ACE Heritage Award for his steadfast dedication to ACE and its objectives.
The event, overseen by ACE president Kevin Tent, ACE, who also secured top comedy honors for his work on "The Holdovers," featured a vibrant ambiance. Drag queen, performer, and queer activist Nina West commenced the festivities with an original musical performance. Notable presenters included long-time collaborators of John Waters, Mink Stole, and Ricki Lake, alongside industry luminaries such as George Lucas, Kevin Smith, and LisaGay Hamilton. The evening concluded with a lively after-party, featuring live music by Tom Kenny & the Hi-Seas and a special appearance by DJ Lance Rock.
