Stagedoor Candle Company, the home fragrance company inspired by Broadway’s favorite characters, is celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride this summer with a brand new limited-edition set of candles. The six candle set comes in a colorful box with original artwork by @heyrooney, a set of character stickers, and an enamel pin to celebrate your Pride. 10% of all sales from the Pride collection will be donated to Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS.
The scent lineup celebrates the Pride rainbow with six brand new characters: Lola (chocolate-covered cherry and leather), Alison (tobacco and vanilla), Hedwig (raspberry lemonade), The Emcee (absinthe), Rod (blue agave), and Celie (lilac).

Stagedoor Candle Company launched in September 2020 by stage manager Caskey Hunsader as a way to bring a touch of Broadway into fans' homes while the Covid-19 pandemic shut down the entire theatre industry. Hunsader has worked on The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring The Rockettes, numerous off-Broadway shows, and national tours including A Night With Janis Joplin, A Chorus Line, Tap Dogs, and the recent tour of Miss Saigon.
Since its launch, the company has shipped hundreds of orders to Broadway fans across the country and internationally. “It’s been overwhelming to see the amazing response from so many people. We might not be quite ready to head into a Broadway theatre right now, but at least you can bring a little piece of the magic home, blast a cast recording and celebrate the magic of Broadway,” says Hunsader. “And now with this Pride collection, I’m excited to expand our offerings to celebrate some of the great LGBTQ+ characters that so many of our customers love.”
