WINS 2021 NEW YORK EMMY AWARD FOR
“BROADWAY PROFILES
WITH TAMSEN FADAL”
The John Gore Organization and Take Flight Productions, producers of “Broadway Profiles with Tamsen Fadal”, have been honored with an Emmy® Award by the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Best Magazine Program (Series).
The “Broadway Profiles with Tamsen Fadal” episode receiving the honor, aired on April 25, 2020, and included information on the 2020 Tony Awards, the death of playwright Terrence McNally, Laura Benanti's #SunshineSongs initiative, an interview with Moulin Rouge! former leading lady Karen Olivo and more. Filmed during the height of the pandemic, this episode began the show’s focus on keeping the spotlight on Broadway while performances had to be canceled.
“Broadway Profiles with Tamsen Fadal” is the only syndicated national television show about Broadway, both on and off the stage, and has recently relaunched as “The Broadway Show with Tamsen Fadal” airing weekly on 100+ stations around the country.
Honored with the win are host/executive producer Fadal, executive producers John Gore and Rich Jaffe, director Zack R. Smith, producers Paul Wontorek and Keith Hurd, associate producers Caitlin Moynihan and Lindsey Sullivan, videographers Kyle Gaskell, Alexander Goyco, Mark Hayes, and Nick Shakra and production coordinator Cyd Sacks.
