Percussionist Gustavo Di Dalva, who performs nightly on stage in David Byrne’s American Utopia on Broadway and can also be seen in the show’s Spike Lee film, will appear on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” throughout the week of January 3 when he sits in as guest drummer/percussionist with the 8G Band.
Tune in from Monday, January 3 through Thursday, January 6 on NBC beginning at 12:35am EST.
David Byrne will also appear as an interview guest on this evening’s program.

GUSTAVO DI DALVA (Percussionist). Baiano composer/singer/producer, born in Salvador-Bahia, Brazil. A percussionist since age 7. He has recorded thousands of albums including Sérgio Mendes (O Brasileiro – Grammy Award), Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento, Carlinhos Brown; played with Gilberto Gil (22 years); produced albums by Bel Maia (2011), Manuela Rodrigues (2016); toured American Utopia; released a solo album Globacidade; and launched several percussion courses. |
