AGBO invites Filmmakers Worldwide to "No Sleep 'til Film Fest” — A 48 Hour Competition 

If you are a visual storyteller and you have a full 48 hours to devote to your craft there’s a new contest sponsored by AGBO to help you unleash your creative side.  The cinematic competition, "No Sleep 'til Film Fest" is calling out to filmmakers globally. The event challenges them to craft compelling short films within a mere 48 hours. This two-day spectacle stands as a testament to AGBO's steadfast dedication to nurturing emerging content creators, providing a platform for innovation and artistic exploration.

At the core of "No Sleep 'til Film Fest" lies the audacious challenge for participants to create bite-sized cinematic gems, clocking in at three minutes or less. The festival promises an opportunity to clinch prizes and mentorship from AGBO, the celebrated independent studio known for its groundbreaking work. 

Imagine this. The setting is the virtual world. The “curtain rises” and filmmakers from all corners of the globe can start submitting their creations starting on September 29th and ending on October 1st.  The creative prompt, unveiled online on September 29th at 5pm PT, will serve as the inspirational spark, igniting a frenzied 48-hour countdown for filmmakers to craft and submit their films by October 1st, 5pm PT. 


The winners will be announced on November 8th. 

AGBO has done this before and done it, well. "No Sleep 'til Film Fest", in the past, has garnered over 1400 submissions spanning 60 countries in its prior two years. The 2022 winners included "P E N," directed by Waldo Levendal from South Africa; "Trade," helmed by Joel Phillips from Australia; and "Movie, The Film: A Motion Picture," directed by Clay Lacey.

The panel of judges includes AGBO Co-Founders Anthony and Joe Russo, Chief Creative Officer Angela Russo-Otstot, Chief Innovation Officer Jake Aust, Chief Marketing Officer Marian Koltai-Levine, President of Film Michael Disco, and President of Television Scott Nemes. The discerning team will handpick three winning films, set to premiere across AGBO's expansive AGBOVERSE platform and its thriving social channels. Winners will bask in the glow of prizes generously sponsored by RED Digital Camera, GoPro, Microsoft, Blackmagic Design, AGBO, and Red Bull.

The stakes are high. The first prize winner will receive a RED KOMODO Starter Pack, a new GoPro action camera, a Microsoft Surface Pro 9, a copy of DaVinci Resolve Studio from Blackmagic Design, AGBO merchandise, and a Red Bull swag bag, filled with a customized U-Turn Turntable, Custom Speaker, a collection of Vinyl from Red Bull Records, and a Swell Water Bottle. The runners-up won't be left behind, securing a new GoPro camera, a Surface Pro 9 from Microsoft, DaVinci Resolve Studio software, AGBO merchandise, and a vibrant Red Bull swag bag.
