It may be day eight of the Festival, but it’s day one of online screenings and we’ve got plenty of Festival magic in store for viewers, including screenings of Girls Will Be Girls, Between the Temples, Gaucho Gaucho, and In the Summers. Quinta Brunson and Michael Schur will be logging on at noon for The Last Laugh: Comedy in the Age of Climate Change, a virtual conversation presented by Natural Resources Defense Council. The two hilarious showrunners will explore how to tackle tough topics through comedy, why laughter is the best medicine, and how climate change can unlock creative opportunities.
Festgoers with us in Utah, get ready for more incredible throwback screenings from our 40th Edition Programming and Events lineup. The Times of Harvey Milk will be screening at The Egyptian Theater and The Babadook is returning to the mountain to spook audiences once again.
Plus, get ready to celebrate the best of the Fest! Our Awards announcement is coming tomorrow morning starting at 10 a.m. MT.
