Juneteenth, The Unsung Collective - Friday, June 14th at 6 p.m.

In celebration of Juneteenth, The Unsung Collective, world-renowned soprano Janinah Burnett and baritone Phillip Bullock will perform a free concert at Columbia University on Friday, June 14th at 6 p.m. 

The group will honor works by Jessie Montgomery, Carlos Simon, and H. Leslie Adams at The Forum located at 601 W. 125th Street. Directed by Tyrone Clinton Jr., The Unsung Collective is a Harlem-based music collective devoted to celebrating stories of the Black experience. 

The concert is part of Columbia's Culture on the Corner, an initiative that aims to celebrate and explore the vibrant tapestry of their neighborhood culture in creative ways.
