Friends, family, and fans of Gavin Creel, the beloved Broadway actor and luminary, will gather to honor his extraordinary life and legacy with a Memorial Celebration at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th St, NYC) on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM EST. The event will be open to the public, and for global accessibility, the celebration will also be live-streamed in the U.S. and the U.K..

MCC Theater, which presented Gavin's original musical Walk On Through: Confessions of a Museum Novice during its acclaimed run at the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater from November 13, 2023, to January 7, 2024, expressed deep admiration for Gavin’s artistry and spirit. Similarly, the Society of London Theatre, where Gavin was an Olivier Award winner, acknowledged his immense contributions to London’s theater scene and his passionate charity work, particularly for Acting For Others.
