Times Square Alliance Announces Winter Discounts to Support Local Businesses Amid Congestion Pricing
Times Square Alliance announces a few restaurants and local institutions that are now offering winter discounts to customers – with the hopes to ease the cost of congestion pricing for those driving into Midtown Manhattan and to encourage patrons to continue to support locally.
- At Lagos TSQ (727 7th Avenue), patrons just need to show a valid driver’s license and use the code "TSQDrive" to get $10 off your bill. This three-story Nigerian restaurant and nighttime lounge features an energizing atmosphere and traditional West African cuisine – known for its pepper soups, Ofada stew, and flavorful jollof rice.

- SaiTong Thai (244 West 48th Street) will offer $9 off the bill for guests who reserves through Resy and puts “congestion fee” into the special request – valid now until Feb 13. SaiTong Thai will also soon celebrate its one-year anniversary as one of the new businesses in the district, offering Southern Thai cuisine with a focus on seafood and popular dishes including Nakorn Fish Curry Salad and Pad Thai “Chaiya.”
- As an Off-Broadway theater, The Theater Center just implemented a congestion pricing deal where patrons who use the code "FARE9" will receive $9 off any of their current shows through the end of February. Current shows include Friends! The Musical Parody, Perfect Crime, The Office! A Musical Parody, and Singfeld! A Musical About Nothing!
- At Russian Samovar (256 West 52nd Street), patrons will be reimbursed $9 off their bill (during dinner only) with a picture of their parked car with the date stamp. This legendary Eastern European restaurant welcomed iconic celebrities from Mikhail Baryshnikov, Liza Minelli, Cyndi Lauper and many others.
- At Jasmine’s Caribbean Cuisine (371 W. 46th Street), guests who present a valid driver’s license and mention the code "Beat Congestion" will receive $5 off their bill. As a gem on Restaurant Row, Jasmine’s features cuisine from Dominica, Antigua, St. Thomas, Trinidad and Jamaica with recipes passed down through generations.
