Biossance, the clean beauty brand known for pioneering the use of shark-safe, sugarcane-derived squalane, is making waves again—this time with the release of a limited-edition version of its top-selling Squalane + Omega Repair Cream. More than just a skincare launch, this release ties self-care to ocean advocacy through a partnership with Oceana, the world’s largest international ocean conservation organization.

Five percent of proceeds from the new Omega Repair Cream will go directly to Oceana, supporting efforts to protect and restore marine ecosystems. The initiative reinforces Biossance’s commitment to sustainability, from skin barrier health to coral reef preservation.

The cream, priced at $60, is infused with the brand’s signature vegan squalane along with omega fatty acids, multi-weight hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and acai berry sterols. Together, these ingredients work to deeply hydrate, plump, and reinforce the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Clinical tests by the brand report visible improvement in skin hydration, fine lines, and barrier function in just one week.

“From the beginning, our goal was to replace harmful ingredients with ones that help—not hurt—the planet,” the company said in a statement. “This limited-edition release continues that mission by giving back to the oceans that inspire us.”

It launches on Sephora.com on May 6, 2025, and will be available in-store at Sephora locations starting May 16.
