Broadway’s Royal Phenomenon Welcomes a New Queendom
Tony Award®–winning SIX The Musical, the global sensation by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is ushering in a powerful new era on Broadway—one that honors its roots while boldly redefining its future.
Beginning performances February 16, 2026, the acclaimed production will welcome a dynamic new cast to the Lena Horne Theatre, marking the next chapter in the show’s historic Broadway run.
Joining the Queendom are two performers making their Broadway debuts: Dylan Mulvaney (The Least Problematic Woman in the World, TikTok’s Days of Girlhood) as the irrepressible Anne Boleyn, and Grammy Award winner Abigail Barlow (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album, Disney’s Moana 2) as the fierce and fearless Katherine Howard.
They are joined by celebrated returning queens from the original Broadway cast: Adrianna Hicks (SIX, Some Like It Hot), whose commanding presence returns as Catherine of Aragon, and Anna Uzele (SIX, New York, New York) as the wise and resolute Catherine Parr. Also returning is Olivia Donalson, reprising her role as Anna of Cleves after performances on Broadway in 2024 and on the North American tour. Current alternates Aryn Bohannon, Sierra Fermin, Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, and Aiyana Smash will continue in their respective roles.
The current Broadway cast will take their final bows on February 15, closing out yet another triumphant chapter in the show’s remarkable run.

A Historic Run on Broadway
SIX officially opened on Broadway on October 3, 2021, at the Lena Horne Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Now in its fifth year, the musical holds the distinction of being the longest-running production of over 200 performances at the venue since it first opened as the Mansfield Theatre in 1926—an extraordinary achievement in Broadway history.
What began as a bold reimagining of history has become a cultural movement. Framed as a high-energy pop concert, SIX transforms the six wives of Henry VIII from Tudor queens into modern icons, remixing 500 years of heartbreak into a sharp, witty, and unapologetically contemporary celebration of female power.
Acclaim, Awards, and Cultural Impact
The production has earned 23 major awards, including the 2022 Tony Award® for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.
Critical response has been equally emphatic. The New York Times declared that SIX “TOTALLY RULES!” (Critic’s Pick), while The Washington Post praised it as “Exactly the kind of energizing, inspirational illumination this town aches for!”
Produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum, SIX is co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The design team includes Emma Bailey (Scenic Design), Tony Award® winner Gabriella Slade (Costume Design), Tim Deiling (Lighting Design), and Paul Gatehouse (Sound Design). The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran, music supervision by Joe Beighton, and U.S. music supervision by Roberta Duchak. Casting is by The TRC Company / Peter Van Dam, CSA, with Theater Matters serving as General Manager. Sam Levy is Associate Producer, and Lucas McMahon is U.S. Executive Producer.
