"Operation Mincemeat" |
HOT DOG! JEEZ LOUISE! 🌭✨
"Operation Mincemeat" Announces a Massive All-American Shake-Up on Broadway!
Grab your binoculars and your best trench coat, Mincefluencers, because the mission just got a major "stars and stripes" makeover! 🇺🇸
The Tony® and Olivier® Award-winning smash hit OPERATION MINCEMEAT just dropped a bombshell: for the first time ever, an All-American cast is taking over the top-secret operation at the Golden Theatre!
The New Recruits 🫡
Playing a staggering 87 characters between them, the new five-person squad is stacked with Broadway royalty:
JULIA KNITEL: Fresh off her Tony nomination for Dead Outlaw, Julia steps into the shoes of Ewen Montagu.
JEFF KREADY: Moving from the haunting halls of Masquerade (as the Phantom!) to play Hester Leggatt.
BRANDON CONTRERAS: The Titanique and Almost Famous fave is taking over as Charles Cholmondeley.
JESSI KIRTLEY: Making her big Broadway debut as Jean Leslie!
AMANDA JILL ROBINSON: Bringing her comedic genius to the role of Johnny Bevan.
They’ll be supported by a powerhouse understudy team featuring Robert Ariza, Allison Guinn, Sam Hartley, Gerianne Pérez, and Lexi Rabadi.
A Bittersweet Cheerio to the OGs 🇬🇧
As we welcome the Yanks, we have to say a heartfelt adieu to the legends who started it all. The original British cast—David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson, Zoë Roberts, Jak Malone, and Claire-Marie Hall—will take their final bows on Sunday, February 22.
Because the demand to see the OGs one last time was absolutely wild (we're talking "overbooked waitlist" wild), they’ve even added a special final Sunday evening performance.
Why You Need to Go (Again):
If you haven't been initiated into the "Mincefluencer" cult yet, here’s the intel:
The Vibe: It’s 1943. The Allies are losing. The solution? A stolen corpse, a fake identity, and a whole lot of high-stakes hilarity. It’s part spy thriller, part slapstick farce, and 100% genius.
The Hype: The New York Times called it "the most rewarding theatrical experience I’ve ever had."
The Stats: 64 award nominations, 13 wins, and a fanbase so loyal that 53 superfans have seen the show 10+ times.
Mission Briefing: The Details
