“Operation Mincemeat” Blizzard Pivot: Final Live Show at 2 P.M., All-Songs Livestream at 5:30
Broadway’s Operation Mincemeat is pulling off one last wartime scramble of its own today as New York braces for a historic blizzard and Mayor Mamdani’s city-wide travel ban. The British original cast will play their final in-person Broadway performance at 2:00 p.m. ETthis afternoon, then head crosstown to turn the snow day into a fan event.
Instead of their now-canceled Sunday evening show, the cast will perform every song from the Tony-nominated musical in a livestream concert at 5:30 p.m. ET, broadcasting from the Laurie Beechman Theatre on the Operation Mincemeat Broadway Instagram account, @mincemeatbway. It’s a rare, one-night-only chance to see the full score delivered by the original British ensemble before an all-American cast officially takes over on Broadway beginning February 24.
