Pride in Times Square Brings Ballroom, Pop, Drag, and a Little Mystery Headliner Energy to Broadway
Times Square is not exactly known for subtlety, which makes it a fitting stage for Pride.
The Times Square Alliance has announced the lineup for TSQ LIVE’s Pride in Times Square, a free outdoor series bringing LGBTQIA+ performers, ballroom culture, pop music, DJs, drag artists and nightlife fixtures to the Broadway pedestrian plaza between 45th and 46th Streets from Wednesday, June 24 through Saturday, June 27, 2026.
The week begins with a true New York cultural landmark: House of Xtravaganza, founded in 1982 as the first Latinx Ballroom House and among the first to bring Ballroom culture downtown in the late 1980s. On Wednesday, June 24, from 5 to 7 p.m., the House partners with TSQ LIVE for the “Love is Imagination Pride Mini Ball,” offering audiences a first look at “XTRAVAGANZA,” a new original musical inspired by the legendary House and Ballroom pioneers. Tickets for the musical’s world premiere engagement at Baltimore Center Stage, opening in May 2027, officially go on sale the same day.
On Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m., the Pride programming shifts into concert mode with Strange Neighbors, the New York City power-pop band known for sticky hooks and a sound described as a queer mix of My Chemical Romance, The Beatles, and IRS-era R.E.M.
The celebration closes on Saturday, June 27, at 3 p.m. with the TSQ LIVE PRIDE Finale Party, presented in partnership with PRYSM Talent Management, featuring DJ sets and drag performances tied to some of NYC’s essential LGBTQIA+ nightlife spots. The lineup includes Jacklynn Hyde with The Dickens, Venus Mystique with Hardware, Reese Havoc and Hanukah Lewinsky with VERS, Jasmine Rice LaBeija with Rise, Mo’Riah with Boxers, and Marti G Cummings with Red Eye, with more to come.
And because Pride in Times Square should never end too quietly, a surprise headliner is scheduled to perform at 5:30 p.m.
All events take place on the Broadway pedestrian plaza in Times Square between 45th and 46th Streets.
