Mahershala Ali Leads Bassam Tariq’s 'Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother'  to Theaters This Fall

Writer-director Bassam Tariq joined stars Mahershala Ali, John Cho, Adia, Abubakr Ali, and Giancarlo Espositoat the Toronto International Film Festival world premiere of “YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER,” the new drama-action feature from Orion Pictures and Two & Two Pictures.

What Is “Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother” About?

Written and directed by Bassam Tariq, “YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER” stars Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali as Latif, a deeply religious hitman trying to reconcile the competing demands of his work, faith, and role as a father.

After the death of his wife, Latif begins a desperate journey across Houston to keep his children safe. But as danger closes in, he is forced to confront not only the people pursuing him, but the beliefs and moral contradictions that threaten to pull his life apart.

With its emotionally charged premise, urban setting, and focus on a man navigating grief, violence, spirituality, and parenthood, “YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER” positions Tariq’s latest feature as a dramatic and action-driven exploration of identity, family, and survival.
