LINCOLN CENTER THEATER ANNOUNCES COMPLETE CAST FOR RAGTIME
Lincoln Center Theater announced today the full cast for Ragtime, the first production of Kewsong Lee, Artistic Director, Lear deBessonet’s inaugural season at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Rehearsals begin today for the new staging, which stars Tony® nominee Joshua Henry, Olivier® and Grammy® nominee Caissie Levy, and Tony Award-winner Brandon Uranowitz. Previews begin September 26, with an official opening on October 16.
In addition to the previously announced principal cast—Henry, Levy, Uranowitz, Colin Donnell, Nichelle Lewis, Ben Levi Ross, Tony Award-winner Shaina Taub, John Clay III, and Rodd Cyrus—the production will feature Anna Grace Barlow as Evelyn Nesbit, Nick Barrington as The Little Boy, and Tabitha Lawing as The Little Girl.
The ensemble includes Nicholas Barrón, Lauren Blackman, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Jordan Chin, Billy Cohen, Rheaume Crenshaw, Charity Angél Dawson, Ellie Fishman, Jason Forbach, Ta’Nika Gibson, David Jennings, Kaleb Johnson, Marina Kondo, Morgan Marcell, Kane Emmanuel Miller, Tom Nelis, Kent Overshown, Kayla Pecchioni, John Rapson, Deandre Sevon, Jacob Keith Watson, and Alan Wiggins. Swings and off-stage understudies are Eean Sherrod Cochran (dance captain), Kerry Conte, Nick Gaswirth, Jackson Parker Gill, Jenny Mollet, Matthew Scott, and Ellie May Sennett.

Featuring a Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, a book by Terrence McNally, and original orchestrations by William David Brohn, Ragtime interlaces the fictional stories of three families with historical figures and events to capture the tensions and aspirations of turn-of-the-century America.
The creative team includes Ellenore Scott (choreography), David Korins (set design), Linda Cho (costume design), Adam Honoré (lighting design), Kai Harada (sound design), 59 Studio (projection design), Tom Watson (hair and wig design), and Ann James (sensitivity specialist). Casting is by The Telsey Office, Craig Burns, CSA. Music Director James Moore will lead a 28-piece orchestra. Cody Renard Richard serves as production stage manager.
Based on E.L. Doctorow’s acclaimed novel, Ragtime is a sweeping musical portrait of America at the dawn of the 20th century. The story follows Black pianist Coalhouse Walker Jr. (Joshua Henry) and his beloved Sarah (Nichelle Lewis), Jewish immigrant Tateh (Brandon Uranowitz) and his daughter, and a wealthy white family led by Mother (Caissie Levy)—all striving for the same elusive American Dream.
The production is presented by Lincoln Center Theater in association with Tom Kirdahy, Kevin Ryan, Robert Greenblatt, Lamar Richardson, Thomas M. Neff, Roy and Jill Furman, Stephanie P.
