Art the "Show" now at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.

Art for a community is as necessary as breathing.

Luther E. Vann, Elemental: The Power of Illuminated Love, said  “It has been my personal experience that as I allow the painting to speak I become lost, it is delicious and at the same time frightening. The best ones, to me, have a life of their own.”

Heads up New York, over 30 of the leading artists in our city are putting on a "Show" which will include over 50 pieces of art of all genres. This exhibit will be shown at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.

The Show is created by artist, Lesny JN Felix and Entrepreneur, Laurent Delly, who both live in Harlem and wanted Harlem and St. Martin's as a backdrop for the show.

IIAF. curated by Andrea Valencia Aranda (Mexico City, Mexico) and John Elammar (Toronto, Canada) bring together the Uptown Artist Community and expanded the project by inviting Artists from all over the City, and all over the World to participate in the event.

Pieces will retail from $700 up to over $20k and sizes will range from 9x12 inches to 8-foot paintings.  There are also several curated sculptures.  This Art Fair is an exciting opportunity for the artists to bring their latest works to a wider audience and have their pieces available to collectors.

An example of the Show is "Site for Memory" 2017 measured at 24x24x42 inches, by T. Eliott Mansa a stunning piece of thought-provoking, inner struggle.

The exhibition, on a suggested donation, which is used to help raise funds for St. Martin's Episcopal Church Restoration Initiative and the gofundme.com/bellsofstmart ins crowdfunding page.

The International Independent Art Fair; IIAF, started on Tuesday, May 1st with viewing hours 10 am to 8 pm and on Sunday 1-5 pm.
