The Women of ‘And Just Like That...’ Return, and Yes, We’re Still Watching

The television gods are smiling down on fans of Sex and the City—and its chaotic, polarizing, and often addictive successor, And Just Like That... Season 3 premieres tonight on Max, bringing Carrie Bradshaw and her friends back into the cultural conversation, whether we’re ready or not.

Despite some uneven storytelling and a lot of head-scratching plot choices, And Just Like That... continues to capture a loyal audience eager to follow Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte through whatever twists their lives take. Devoted viewers—including this one—aren’t necessarily tuning in for narrative cohesion. We’ll take the group however they come. Even if they were watching paint dry, we’d still be seated. But Carrie's new house is worth watching. Trust me. I am obsessed. 

At the end of Season 2, Carrie and Aidan chose to place their relationship in a five-year “pause” with no clear roadmap for what comes next. Charlotte reentered the workforce. And Miranda, after a tumultuous emotional arc, finally seemed to resemble the composed and career-focused woman fans remember.

When does Season 3 premiere?

Tonight, May 29, with the first episode, titled “Outlook Good,” dropping at 9 p.m. EST (6 p.m. PST). New episodes will roll out weekly on Thursdays.

How many episodes are in Season 3?

This third season is the most expansive yet, offering 12 episodes—up from 10 in Season 1 and 11 in Season 2. Each episode runs close to an hour, making this the largest installment of the continuation so far.
