Star-Studded Presenter Lineup Announced for the 78th Annual Tony Awards
The Tony Awards are preparing for a high-wattage return to Radio City Music Hall this Sunday with a lineup of presenters that reflects the breadth of contemporary stage and screen talent.
Announced today by Tony Award Productions, the presenters for the 78th annual ceremony include an eclectic and star-studded list: Aaron Tveit, Adam Lambert, Alex Winter, Allison Janney, Ariana DeBose, Ben Stiller, Bryan Cranston, Carrie Preston, Charli D’Amelio, Danielle Brooks, Jean Smart, Jesse Eisenberg, Katie Holmes, Keanu Reeves, Kelli O’Hara, Kristin Chenoweth, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Lea Michele, Lea Salonga, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Michelle Williams, Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Bay Jones, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Samuel L. Jackson, Sara Bareilles, and Sarah Paulson.
Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will serve as the show’s announcer.
The 2025 ceremony will once again be hosted by Cynthia Erivo, a Tony, Emmy, and GRAMMY Award winner and three-time Oscar nominee. The broadcast will air live on Sunday, June 8, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time (5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time) on CBS, and will also stream in the United States via Paramount+.*
A special pre-show, The Tony Awards: Act One, will be hosted by Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry and made available free to viewers via Pluto TV. The pre-show begins at 6:40 p.m. ET and includes exclusive content and early presentations.
The Tony Awards are presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League, and produced in partnership with White Cherry Entertainment. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss return as executive producers and showrunners; Weiss will also direct the telecast.
A limited number of tickets remain available to the public at TonyAwards.com/tickets and Ticketmaster.com. Purchases are capped at four tickets per customer.
This year’s sponsors include City National Bank (official bank), American Express (official payments partner), and Carnegie Mellon University (official higher education partner). Other partners include Baccarat, Cunard, Dewar’s, Rockefeller Center, Sofitel New York, Playbill, Rainbow Room, TIRTIR, and Pure Leaf.
The Tony Awards honor excellence in live Broadway theatre. Founded in 1947, the awards are named for Antoinette Perry, an actress, director, producer, and co-founder of the American Theatre Wing.
