Oscar-nominated actor Danielle Brooks and actor Lewis Pullman will officially kick off awards season’s most closely watched morning when they announce the 98th Academy Awards nominations live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Thursday, January 22, with coverage beginning at 5:30 a.m. PST.
The nominations will stream globally on
Oscar.com,
Oscars.org,
and across the Academy’s digital platforms, including
TikTok,
Instagram,
YouTube,
and Facebook.
Viewers can also tune in via ABC’s Good Morning America, ABC News Live, Disney+, Hulu, and broadcast pool feeds in New York and Los Angeles. American Sign Language interpretation will be available on YouTube, with live captions across all streaming platforms.
At 5:30 a.m. PST, the Academy will announce nominations in the following categories:
