Colman Domingo, Viola Davis and Hollywood’s Elite Gather on ‘Golden Eve’ to Honor Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker

Carol Burnett, Colman Domingo, Harrison Ford, Kristin Davis, Ted Danson, Tessa Thompson, Vin Diesel, and Viola Davis to Appear on ‘Golden Eve,’ a Primetime Tribute to Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The Golden Globes announced a star-studded lineup for “Golden Eve: The Golden Globes Honor Helen Mirren & Sarah Jessica Parker,” a new primetime special that will air Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

The special will pay tribute to this year’s Cecil B. DeMille Award honoree, Dame Helen Mirren, and Carol Burnett Award recipient, Sarah Jessica Parker, ahead of the 83rd Annual Golden Globes ceremony.

Harrison Ford is set to present the lifetime achievement honor to Mirren, while appearances from past honorees and Hollywood favorites will round out the night, including Carol Burnett, Ted Danson, Viola Davis, Tessa Thompson, Kristin Davis, Vin Diesel, and the Afro-Latino actor, writer, and producer Colman Domingo.

First introduced in 1952, the Cecil B. DeMille Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. Its past recipients include Barbra Streisand, Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, Oprah Winfrey, and Viola Davis. Established in 2019, the Carol Burnett Award honors leaders in television whose work has left a lasting impact on both the medium and its audiences. Past honorees include Ellen DeGeneres, Norman Lear, and Ryan Murphy.

Often referred to as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” the Golden Globes remains the largest international awards show celebrating film, television, and, more recently, podcasting. Emmy Award-winning producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producers for the 83rd Annual Golden Globes, which airs Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser will host this year’s ceremony.
