Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis’ new musical Warriors is heading to Broadway in spring 2027. Based on Sol Yurick’s novel, the cult action film The Warriors, and the writing duo’s star-studded 2024 concept album, the production will play the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

When does Warriors begin performances on Broadway?
Preview performances begin in March 2027, followed by an official opening in April 2027.

Casting will be announced at a later date. The 2024 concept album featured Colman Domingo, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Busta Rhymes and Shenseea, though their participation in the Broadway production has not been announced.

Warriors features a book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis. Jenny Koons directs, with Andy Blankenbuehler serving as co-director and choreographer.
