Brandy is back for Christmas: Lifetime orders ‘Christmas Everyday Again’ with Sy’rai Smith, Debbi Morgan, and Robert C. Riley

Brandy Norwood is returning to Lifetime for another holiday romance. Following the success of last year’s “Christmas Everyday,” the Grammy^® Award-winning singer and actress will reprise her role as Francine “Fancy” Ballantine in “Christmas Everyday Again” (working title), while once again serving as executive producer.

The film recently wrapped production and will be part of Lifetime’s 2026 “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday movie slate.

Norwood returns with her real-life daughter Sy’rai Smith, who plays Fancy’s younger sister Belle; Debbi Morgan as their mother, Evelyn; and Robert C. Riley as Fancy’s fiancé, Jaylen. Norwood’s performance as Fancy in the first film earned her an NAACP Award nomination.

“I’m so excited to step back into Fancy’s world,” Norwood said. “Making ‘Christmas Everyday’ was such a special experience, and I’m thrilled that audiences will get to continue this journey with these characters.”

This time, Chicago fashion designer Fancy Ballantine is heading into what should be the biggest Christmas of her life. Her boutique is thriving, and she is planning her dream holiday wedding to Jaylen. With Evelyn and Belle beside her, everything appears to be falling into place.

Then the pressure starts piling up.

As Fancy fights to secure the future of her business, the unexpected return of a reformed ex complicates matters. Determined to handle every problem herself, Fancy begins pushing Jaylen away. With Christmas approaching, she must decide whether she can finally release the past before it costs her the future she has been building.

Also returning are Kajuana S. Marie as Deena, Journey Carter as Tia, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman as Germaine, and Lamman Rucker as Richard. Gregory Alan Williams joins the cast as Earl. Behind the camera, Roger Bobb returns to direct, reuniting with writer Meg DeLoatch.
