Tyler Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Richard T. Jones and More Cast Celebrate ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’ Screening in Los Angeles

Netflix brought the cast of Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Again? together in Los Angeles for a special screening at the Harmony Gold Theater, with writer, director, producer and star Tyler Perry leading the celebration. Perry was joined by returning franchise cast members Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Lamman Rucker and Sharon Leal, alongside Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actress and franchise newcomer Taraji P. Henson.

A new generation of cast members also hit the carpet, including Armani Greer, Everett Osborne, Da’Vinchi, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Jaden Michael, Charles L. Smith II, Derrick A. King and Sydney Winbush. Actors from across Perry’s growing Netflix universe came out in support as well, including talent from Doing Life, Beauty in Black, A Fall From Grace and Where There’s Smoke.

Written and directed by Perry, Why Did I Get Married Again? reunites the longtime couples as Marcus and Angela’s daughter prepares to get married. Coming back together after time apart, the friends find themselves confronting a familiar question from a new perspective as they recognize their own relationship patterns reflected in their now-grown children.
