Exciting news for theater lovers! Production images have just been released for Kenneth Lonergan’s Hold on to Me Darling, starring Adam Driver, ahead of its opening night at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).

Adam Driver leads the cast as country music icon Strings McCrane, who, after learning of his mother’s death, spirals into an existential crisis. In an effort to escape the pressures of superstardom, Strings decides to leave behind his fame and fortune and return to his hometown in Tennessee for a simpler life. But as he soon finds out, life is far from simple in this brilliantly crafted tragicomedy that explores the burdens of success and the surreal effects of celebrity life.

Joining Driver on stage are an outstanding cast of talented actors: Heather Burns (Nancy), Adelaide Clemens (Essie), Keith Nobbs (Jimmy), CJ Wilson (Duke), and Frank Wood (Mitch).

Hold on to Me Darling is directed by Neil Pepe and written by the renowned Kenneth Lonergan. The creative team for the production includes Walt Spangler (scenic design), Suttirat Larlarb (costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design), and David Van Tiegham (sound design). Casting was handled by Telsey Casting, and Wagner Johnson Productions serves as the General Manager.
